Today was one of those days I’ll never forget.
We started with a sake tasting, where I sampled several varieties and bought plum sake to bring home (assuming it survives the trip and doesn’t mysteriously disappear before I get there!).
Then we stopped in a local village for soba noodles before we visited the Mount Fuji World Heritage Center and a nearby viewing plaza, where we were treated to stunning views of Japan’s most iconic mountain. The clouds refused to move completely, but they parted just enough to reveal the snow-capped peak—and it was absolutely breathtaking.
Of course, no visit would be complete without unfurling my Michigan flag.
From the top of Africa to Antarctica… and now in front of Mount Fuji.
GO BLUE around the globe continues. 💙💛🌍
We’re now heading back to the ship for our farewell party and final dinner onboard. Tomorrow we leave the ship and begin our three-day extension in Tokyo before heading home.
This trip has already been filled with unforgettable experiences, wonderful friends, and more stories than I can count. And the adventure isn’t over yet.

WordPress just let me know that I’ve hit another milestone. Posting 7 consecutive days.
Seven days in a row! Apparently cruising around Japan with a Michigan flag, a mahjong set, and a giant Styrofoam head is excellent for blog productivity. ✈️🀄🏔️💙
Thanks for following along on this adventure. From Juju with Love continues to grow, one story at a time.
