Temples, Gardens, Ginza, and the Magic of Tokyo

Tokyo in a Day With Our Private Guide

Today felt like the perfect introduction to Tokyo.

In just eight hours, our private guide Kevin led us from the ancient temples of Asakusa to the peaceful beauty of Koishikawa Korakuen Garden, from the elegance of Ginza to the towering torii gates of Meiji Jingu, and finally to the colorful energy of Harajuku.

Each stop revealed a different side of this extraordinary city—its history, spirituality, beauty, and vibrant modern culture.

We rode the subway like locals, admired women and children in beautiful kimonos, walked nearly 20,000 steps, and somehow still have enough energy left for dinner and shopping.

My feet are angry, but my heart is full. Nearly 20,000 steps in Tokyo and worth every single one.
