We came home from Japan with more KitKats than clothes. 😳🇯🇵🍫
While we were shopping in Tokyo, a Japanese TV crew stopped our group to ask about our trip, our souvenir shopping, and what surprised us most about Japan. They laughed when we admitted that five grown women had collectively spent over $1000 on KitKat bars.
And honestly? Looking at our photos last night after we unpacked… they were right to laugh. 😂
Somewhere along the way, we each apparently decided it was our personal responsibility to introduce our friends and families back home to every KitKat flavor in Japan.
Matcha. Peach. Banana. Strawberry. Purple sweet potato. Cookies & Cream. Orange chocolate. Sakura sake. Flavors we can identify… and a few we’re still not entirely sure about. 😜
Susan and Janet somehow bought enough snacks to survive a small apocalypse.
Judy appears to be running an underground candy import business, although she still hasn’t submitted photographic evidence of her haul yet.
At this point, somewhere in Tokyo, a Don Quijote shelf is sitting noticeably emptier tonight.
We came for the temples, gardens, culture, and history.
We left with enough KitKats to qualify for bulk distributor pricing.
After seeing our collective KitKat haul, I officially regret not owning stock in Nestlé.
From Juju with love 💙🍫🇯🇵
